A one day introduction to Sarga Bodywork

In this one-day in person course, students will be introduced to basic Sarga Bodywork techniques using our floor-based equipment. This course is intended to provide students a glimpse into the world of Sarga Bodywork without having to commit to our 4-day introductory Sarga 101 course.  

1 day, 9:30am to 6:00pm — 7.5 hours total class time

BAREFOOT MYOFASCIAL MASSAGE COURSE FOR BODYWORKERS

This course provides 7.5 Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) upon completion.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS & PREREQUISITES:

  • Must feel comfortable with floor-based bodywork.

  • Must meet your state/country’s massage license requirements (if applicable).

  • Must have current liability/malpractice insurance in the state/country where you practice (if applicable).

  • Entry-level bodyworkers curious to discover the fabulous world of barefoot massage.

  • Bodyworkers who wish to fulfill the prerequisite for SargaThai without having to attend our 4-day Sarga 101 course.

  • Practitioners with a passion for myofascial bodywork.

  • Bodyworkers who wish to incorporate barefoot massage techniques into their hand-based practice.

  • Bodyworkers who want to learn something new while fulfilling their CEU requirements.

  • Any bodyworker curious to find out if a Sarga Bodywork practice is right for them.

What to expect in SARGAONE:

  • Overview of Sarga Bodywork’s floor-based equipment.

  • Foot-based awareness, mechanics, care & sanitation.

  • Sarga Bodywork principles & theory.

  • Cautions & contraindications for barefoot massage. 

  • Basic Sarga Silk alignment & wrapping methods.

  • Basic seated & standing posterior & anterior myofascial massage techniques using your bare feet. 

Meet Your Instructor, KRISTI

Kristi was drawn to bodywork through Yoga. After receiving her massage license in 2015 she found her passion in Thai massage, but always felt like something was missing. After taking the Sarga training she found “home” by bringing the fascial work of Sarga and the passive movement of Thai massage together.
