I am beyond grateful to Sarga Bodywork for the first workshop I have attended that I didn't want to end! Jiva and Dan (founders) lead their workshops with the highest standards! Their one-of-a-kind foot-based techniques blow me away every time. The bodywork not only feels great to receive but you can feel the fascial change when you get off the table. And to top it off they are humble, genuine, and kind people. It doesn't get any better than this!

My training with Sarga Bodywork exceed all expectations. First, this is not another version of Ashiatsu. This modality teaches myofacial techniques using feet, not just how to use a strap attached to a table and how to use it while balancing. Sarga is worth looking into if you are interested in differentiating yourself as a practitioner. This is not for the faint of heart, it's really focused work that requires full presence and strength. Practicing this has already set me apart as a mindful, patient therapist and added value to my skill set. I'm grateful to have found this; the course is put together with love and patience. My trainer Amy is warm, professional and has high standards. She ensured we each really performed each move precisely before moving on. I could not have picked a better course to invest my time and money into. Well worth every bit of effort to make it happen.

I'm so thankful I followed my intuition and heart and took the advanced Sarga Bodywork certification course with Jennifer in Portland. We're the first therapists certified in this barefoot technique in the south, so it's pretty unique. We've grown so much as a business in the past few months and as healers too. I'm thankful it's been so popular and people have been able to experience the amazing myofacial benefits of Sarga. Hearing all of the positive feedback has made our hearts so happy! Thank you, Jivatma, for opening us up to a whole new world through the soles of our feet.

I really enjoyed participating in Jiva & Dan's Sarga Bodywork course! I have been a massage therapist for 12 years and am always trying to improve, though it is easy to pick up bad habits along the way. I started doing Ashiatsu, using my feet, just 1 year ago, and it has immensely helped my practice, being 5'5" and 120lbs. All my clients want very deep therapeutic massage for chronic pain. The biggest problem I was confronted with was how to use my new skills in multiple places, as well as for outcalls. After practicing with my feet, it is now almost impossible for me to want to do a full body with just my hands. The benefits of footwork are twofold, for practitioner and recipient. Within the past year, I have built out Ashi bars in 3 locations; due to switching jobs and rental spaces- not a simple or cheap task. Sarga has given me freedom to take my work anywhere by not being limited by special configurations and cumbersome hardware.
Sarga Bodywork is a valuable modality because it improves on your already established techniques; by using movements that are rooted in Structural Integration theory. Moving towards the midline, as well as transverse strokes that tactfully grasp fascia allows for a deep sensation without extreme exertion on the therapists part. Even after all these years, it is always important to slow down and Jiva and Dan emphasize this. These drags and holds in movement really help the tissue and trigger points release, as well as have lasting effects of relief and relaxation. As a body worker who is looking for longevity in my career, this course has been a diamond in the rough. The movements of Sarga compliment all my learnings and will be a part of my repertoire, whether I use the silk or overhead bars. I recommend it for those who want to advance in their barefoot practice and enjoy deep work!

I had the great opportunity to participate in a Sarga Bodywork training given in Auroville, India in March 2017. As an Ayurvedic practitioner for the past 20 years, I was amazed by the effectiveness and depth of this training given by Jivatma Massaguer, co-founder of this very specific foot-based technique.
The training has taught me a lot about giving touch with my feet and how to practice barefoot techniques with care, a clear method, and mindfulness, in order to give the maximum benefits. The training was very well structured, with clear instructions and detailed support at every step. Jivatma is a real master in this technique, she taught us with meticulous guidance, demonstrated and explained everything with care, softness, patience, and excellent communication skills. I recommend taking this training to every bodyworker and massage therapist. It brought me a new depth of consciousness of the body and an expansion of my skills. The benefits of this fabulous technique are many, but most notable to me, is the profound release and relaxation it gives, a feeling of being reborn to a new mind-body connection.

I recently had the opportunity to attend a Sarga Bodywork training. The instructor, Jivatma had all the qualities that a good instructor should have: competence and knowledge in the subject, patience, presence, and the ability to make you grasp and understand the material and embody it in your own body. I felt completely comfortable during the class and was able to learn the techniques without any difficulty. I will have to get used to the new ways of using my body and handling the Sarga Strap, but with practice this should become easier. Jivatma's graceful and elegant ways of working and smoothly and effortlessly moving around the table are true inspiration to me and a guiding image as I get more familiar with the new material.
